UPDATE: Donald Eugene Webb

The remains of wanted fugitive Donald Eugene Webb have been found.

Webb was wanted for the murder of police chief Gregory Adams in 1980. He was on the the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” list for 25 years.

In 2016, investigators searched the home of Webb’s ex-wife Lillian, and found a secret door inside a closet that led to a small room with a walking cane inside. They had long believed that Gregory Adams had shot Webb in the leg, so the cane indicated that Webb had hid in that room.

The FBI learned that Webb died in 1999. In July of 2017, authorities uncovered the remains of Webb in Lillian’s backyard.

The family of the chief should get the house for what it’s worth. I also think the ex wife should have been formally charged.

This case was solved here in my town of Dartmouth Massachusetts. The wife buried Webb in her backyard. No charges I believe weren’t brought to rhe ex wife. Chief Gregory Adam’s family did file a lawsuit against the Ex wife. https://www.southcoasttoday.com/news/20171021/how-national-manhunt-ended-in-dartmouth-backyard
