The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office announced a new development in a four-year-old cold case.
Investigators said Shawn Marrone was attending a family gathering with his girlfriend when he was shot and killed outside a home on Meadow Hills Drive in July 2020.
For the first time, the sheriff’s office has revealed that they have a person of interest in the case. Investigators believe that the shooting was not a random act of violence.
