The unsolved murder of 19-year-old Veronica Perotti continues to haunt her family and the community. Perotti was brutally beaten to death in her apartment on West Second Avenue on June 28, 1984.

Perotti, fondly known as “Roni” by her family, was a nursing student from Marin County. She was taking summer classes and preparing for her sophomore year when her life was tragically cut short.

Her mother, Jan Miller, became an advocate for other crime victims by helping to establish “Citizens Against Homicide.” Miller has tirelessly sought information about her daughter’s murder, including posting billboards offering a $50,000 reward.
