Tommy was my best friend in junior high school. His mother was my teacher as well. He could make anyone smile just by being there. Regardless of what in the end happened. There are past friends out there who really miss him. I remember watching this episode and having my heart come out of my chest. This is truly a shame. God rest Tommy.

I believe it was Neals Falls also the sketch and his pic are uncanny alike, also the weapon used was very untypical only someone with firearms experience and or enthusiast would have knowledge of it. such a weapon.

Still BIZARRE to this day. I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters in Jan. 1981-1984. I couldn’t believe that this Deputy Base Commander & Airmen would fabricate such a far-out story. The man was a Colonel after all. Its been over 40+ years since this happened & I was in the Weather Station as a young Airman myself at the time. We saw alot of strange activity overseas; most of which I refuse to discuss even NOW!!

This is not true. I drove between the bases every night during this time and there was nothing but deer and other animal life. There was no light there was no ship. The security police did not go off the base to experience the incident. It is a hoax for money.

None of this is correct. I was his granddaughter and the only family that lived near him..in the same town. And none of this is correct…He did not talk to his kids, hardly ever they always wanted money ,only reason they called ,..was probley one of them that killed him…js. I was the only one who talked to him and seem that was going on.. And none of this is correct..He had purchased me a brand new car. He got none of them his kids nothing. Truth is that . And my best friend that lived on his property with him, found him. .

I’m so glad I found this website. I was called for jury duty on the Chrissy Gallagher case. I could not remember what the scums name was that hurt her so. I do know we jurors sat in the jury room all day. From 7:30 until 3:00 and then the clerk of court came in and said we could go home. No explanation.or anything. But I did hear as I was heading to the court house door , he was saying he didn’t rape her but once not two times.

My gut tells me that Gary’s murder dealt with Black Market gasoline. According to another page on this case, the Simmons family hired a PI and the PI found that there was a federal investigation opened into black market gasoline sales before Gary disappeared and was murdered. Gary was named as a witness to testify in that case.

My theory is that the horse deal was legit in that the bank manager said that Gary sounded normal when he called and the signature on the check was legit… but some time a little after the horse deal was complete Gary was murdered by one of those in the federal investigation who didn’t want him to testify. Dixon maybe found Gary murdered and got spooked thinking that the murder would be pinned on him (or those who murdered Gary would kill him), so he hid the body, ditched the car, and fled… taking on another identity somewhere else. Some have speculated that he was a part of it… used to lure Gary to a spot where he could be murdered but I don’t think so. He seems to act like a man spooked by something. He could also have murdered him but my gut says no…. The federal investigation into gasoline seems to be the cause of Gary’s disappearance and murder and that Tom had nothing to do with it.

Circumstances of Discovery

On April 18, 2005, a British long-distance cyclist who was pedaling north along the isolated U.S. 27 road into Palm Beach County was looking for a place to camp overnight. As he looked at his surroundings, he noticed a large blue container partially hidden off a dirt road, 500 feet west of US 27. Inside the blue Rubbermaid container (see photo) was the decedent’s nude body. She had been killed, wrapped in plastic, and stuffed inside the container.

Genotype results from DNA extracted from her hair show she could have been from Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, or North Macedonia. A Forensic Odontologist stated that due to her teeth composition, she is believed to be elderly. There is nothing to suggest the decedent was a prostitute, and her toxicology results show she was negative for drugs.

My theory is someone Russell worked with or worked at his franchise business was either fired or disgruntled and happen to either spot him in town or heard that he was living in Great Waters and decided to pay him a visit and exact revenge for be either fired, passed over for promotion or some other perceived (or real) slight…….
