A 2010 cold case is getting some additional attention as a reward was announced for information leading to the arrest and conviction in the case.

Amber Jackson, of Kapaʻa, was reported missing on June 23, 2010. Her body was found two weeks later by a pig hunter in a wooded area of Keālia, on the island of Kauaʻi.

KPD said an autopsy revealed 57-year-old Jackson died of blunt-force trauma to the head and that she had injuries consistent with an assault.
