It has been over four years since the body of Ashley Sweeney, a 33-year-old mother and grandmother, was found shot to death in a Hilltop alley near South Terrace Avenue.
Despite the passage of time, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind her murder remains unclear.
Sweeney’s family continues to grapple with the loss. “We’ll be having a get together for a holiday, and you miss her,” Tina Griffey said, Ashley’s mother. “It’s not the same, celebrations are not as happy as they used to be.”
