Detectives from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department have released new surveillance footage in connection to a 2023 homicide investigation.
The incident happened on March 11, 2023 outside of a McDonalds restaurant in the 7000 block of South Blvd. Police said 23-year-old LaCarta Roseborough Jr. was working at the McDonalds and was shot after being confronted outside of the restaurant.
“We don’t have a ton of context as to the interaction, whether Mr. Roseborough was known to this person or if it was an off chance that they just came into contact that night,” said CMPD detective Henry Buhr, the lead detective on the case.
