A search is now into its fourth day for a snowboarder last seen on Valentine’s Day.
Connor Gill hit the slopes on Vail Mountain Friday morning but failed to return that afternoon as scheduled. He was last seen near the Avanti route, which runs down the mountain between Mid-Vail and Eagle’s Nest. The 26-year-old was reported overdue to Vail Ski Patrol at 3:15 p.m., kicking off a weekend-long search with crews on the mountain, as well as search dogs and drones.
Eagle County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Monday morning that teams were continuing to search for Gill Monday.
