Cousins Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins went missing in Evansdale 13 years ago on Sunday. Investigators are still looking for answers after their bodies were found months later.
Cook was 10 years old and Collins was 8 years old when they were last seen on July 13, 2012, riding bikes near Meyers Lake. Their bodies were found five months later by hunters at Bremer County’s Seven Bridges Wildlife Park.
No one has been arrested, charged or held responsible for their deaths. There’s still a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
