The names of the mailboxes have changed over the years, but Putnam Street in West Hazleton is just as quiet as it was back in September of 2010.
It was the quiet that concerned Liz Schappell. She called police when she realized she hadn’t seen her neighbor, Joseph Pawlowski, in days.
“If anybody knows anything to contact somebody because what happened to him is horrible the sooner they can find something out the better,” said Liz Schappell.
