An unsolved murder since 1981, a $94,700 reward for information leads to the arrest of anyone responsible for the death of Rhonda Hinson, according to a news release.

The release states that 19-year-old Hinson was murdered in December of 1981 when she was shot inside of her car on I-40 West and her death was never solved. Burke County Sheriff Banks Hinceman is offering an increase in the reward that is being offered between three agencies. Over the past 42 years, thousands of hours have been spent investigating the death, as said in the release.
